Black Sulpa Production is an independent film company dedicated to powerful, authentic storytelling rooted in the lived realities of Nepal’s western hills, with a special focus on the Magar Khaam community. Its films emerge from cultural folklore, memory, and everyday human experience, shaped by themes of migration, tradition, struggle, and emotional depth. Rather than creating fictional distance, it captures raw, unspoken truths that exist within local life. Through cinema, it aims to preserve heritage, reflect identity, and bring the voices of underrepresented communities to a wider world, transforming real stories into meaningful visual narratives.

With a background in Sociology (BA), his approach to cinema is deeply human, observing people, structures, and emotions beyond the surface. His films focus on identity, culture, and the unseen lives of communities.
